3 GHz exposure to rabbits and guinea pigs and analysis of immune response |
Details |
|
Rabbits and Guinea Pigs were exposed to 3 GHz MW at reportedly non-thermal levels. In Guinea Pigs, MW exposure depressed total erythrocyte numbers and erythroblast proliferation. In rabbits, no changes in granulocytes were observed, but the authors reported a stimulation in proliferation, mitotic disturbances, changes of nuclear structure of lymphocytes, and some effects in combination with drugs on CNS function. |

Comments |
|
Very little information on exposure was provided making interpretation and confirmation of non-thermal conditions difficult. |
