94 GHz (CW) exposure to SENCAR mice and analysis of skin tumors (DMBA intiated +/- TPA co-promotion tumor bioassay) |
Details |
|
SENCAR mice, initiated with DMBA and/or promoted with TPA to produce skin papillomas were exposed to 94 GHz (CW), either for 10 seconds at a level resulting in a 13-15 degree increase in skin temperature or twice weekly for 12 weeks at a level resulting in a 4-5 degree increase in skin temperature. Exposure had no effect on promotion or copromotion of skin tumors. |
