2450 MHz (CW) exposure to rabbits and monkeys and analysis of eye pathology |
Details |
|
Monkeys were exposed to 2450 MHz (CW) at power densities of 15.9 to 43 mW/cm2 without anesthesia. No effects on corneal endothelial abnormalities were observed. In studies with rabbits, acute effects were found to be reversible |

Comments |
|
The authors comment that their results are in direct conflict with reports of corneal endothelial damage at 30 mW/cm2 reported by Kues et al (Bioelectromagnetics 1985, 6:177-188), and that this might have been a result of the PW exposures or anesthesia used by Kues. |
