Primary rat cerebellar granule cells, neonatal myocytes, and Jurkat T cells were loaded with imaging dyes fura-PE3 or fluo-3 AM and exposed to 380 MHz (17 Hz modulated [TETRA] or CW) for 20 minutes and analyzed for Ca++ efflux using fluorescence microscopy. In addition, rat hippocampal slices were also exposed as above and membrane potentials measured. Finally, pacemaker cells were be examined for beat interval. |
