835.62 MHz (FM), 847.74 MHz (CDMA) exposure to C3H 10T1/2 fibroblasts and analysis of transformation frequency |
Details |
|
C3H 10T1/2 cells exposed for 1 week to 835.62 MHz CDMA or 847.74 MHz CW at an SAR of 0.6 to 0.8 W/kg showed no increased initiation of transformation. Initiation with gamma-rays and co-promotion studies with TPA showed no promotion or co-promotion of transformation by RF using an IARC established protocol. Studies help to address previous Balcer Kubriczek reports using 2450 MHz as a co-initiator and co-promoter are planned in the future. |
