Sprague Dawley rats were exposed to 35 GHz millimeter waves at 13 W/kg until arterial pressure decreased to 75 mm Hg. Inhibition of NO production with L-NAME immediately after MMW exposure did not reduce hypotension suggesting NO is not involved in circulatory failure due to MMW exposure at thermal levels. |
