2450 MHz (PW) exposure to rats and analysis of liver regeneration following hepatectomy |
Details |
|
Rats were exposed to 2450 MHz (PW- AM 50 Hz followed by 4 cycles at 400 Hz) for 30 minutes every 12 hours immediately or 12 hours after partial hepatectomy. Exposure resulted in an initial increase in ODC activity (an early marker of cell growth) and DNA synthesis as well as a decrease in glycogen and lipid accumulation, and an overall faster rate of liver regeneration and recovery. |
