2450 Mz (CW) exposure to CD-1 mice and analysis of life span |
Details |
|
CD1 mice were exposed to 2450 MHz (CW) microwaves at an SAR of ~ 2.0 or 6.8 W/kg for 1 hr/day for 5 days. Exposures ran from 35 days of age until death. Exposure at 6.8 W/kg (but not 2 W/kg) significantly shortened the mean lifespan of the mice. The authors suggested MW exposures might cause mild thermal stress or other chronic biological or psychophysiological condition. |
