2450 MHz (CW) exposure to rabbits and analysis of EEG and brain activity |
Details |
|
Rabbits were exposed to 2450 MHz (CW) for 1 minute at an E-field intensity of 40 mW/cm2. Significant changes in slow potentials (recorded at the surface or 1mm deep in the motor and visual cortex), as well as in EEG and evoked potentials were observed in many animals due to MW exposure. Although core temperatures were not taken, the exposures were believed by the authors to be non-thermal. The author interprets the results as indicating a change in the functional activity of the brain with MW exposure, particularly in the visual cortex. |
