Sprague Dawley (male) rats were exposed to 900 MHz (GSM) RF for 2 hours at SARs of 1, 2, or 4 W/kg using a head first (loop antenna) exposure system. Although a small increase in tail length was observed in the 4 W/kg group, no consistent increase in coment moment and tail length was observed, and the investigators interpreted these results as showing no consistent effect of RF on DNA damage. |
