900 MHz (AM 20 Hz) exposure to humans and analysis of vision disturbances |
Details |
|
Human subjects (n=4) were exposed to 900 MHz (20 Hz modulated) RF for 18 - 90 seconds at 10 and 40 W/kg peak SAR (average 2 W/kg / 6 minutes) directly in front of the eye. Subjects were initially trained to identify magnetically induced phosphene "flashes" and then exposed to the RF with a 20 Hz magnetic field superimposed on the carrier frequency with a phase difference of 0, 90, 180, or 270 degrees. None of the subjects percieved phosphene "flashes" from the RF exposure. |
