1.0. 2.06, 2.45 GHz (CW, AM-16 Hz) exposure to rat brain tissue and analysis of Ca++ efflux |
Details |
|
Sprague Dawley rats were exposed to 2.06 GHz (CW or PW) for 20 minutes at SARs of up to 2.4 W/kg. In addition, rat brain tissue was loaded with 45Ca++ and exposed to either 1 GHz or 2450 MHz (AM-16 Hz pulse repetition rate, 20 msec pulse width) RF for 20 minutes at SARs of 0.29 or 2.9 W/kg (1 GHz) or 0.3 W/kg (2450 MHz) and analyzed for 45Ca++ release. Exposure in vivo or in situ did not effect Ca++ efflux. No "window" effects of power density or modulation were observed. |
