1.18 GHz (CW) exposure to mouse erythroleukemia (MEL) cells and analysis of growth and differentiation |
Details |
|
Murine erythroleukemic (MEL) cells were induced to differentiate by 3-mM hexamethylene bis(acetamide) (HMBA) and exposed to 1.18 GHz (CW) RF for 48 hours at 18.5 W/kg, 36.3 W/kg, or 69.2 W/kg at constant temperature (37.4 +/- 0.2 degrees) in an anechoic chamber. No effects of exposure on cell growth (as measured by cell counts) or differentiation (as measured by benzidine staining of hemoglobin) were observed. |
