2450 MHz (CW) exposure to rat kangaroo cells and analysis of chromosome aberrations |
Details |
|
Rat Kangaroo cells exposed to 2450 MHz (CW) at up to 15.2 W/kg kg for over 320 days were reported to show an increase in the incidence of unstable chromosome aberrations vs sham exposed controls. The chromosome aberrations reported in exposed samples were similar to those most commonly associated with ionizing radiation. A change in cell population by repeated passage of the cells and senescence may have influenced the results, however. |
