900 MHz (CW, GSM) exposure to NIH 3T3 and L929 cells and analysis of gene expression |
| Details |
|
NIH 3T3 fibroblasts and L929 fibrosarcoma cells treated/initiated with 3-chloro-4-(dichloromethyl)-5-hydroxy-2(5H)-furanone (also called MX) and the herbicide vinclozolin for 6 hours. Cells will be exposed to 900 MHz (GSM or CW) at 0.3 or 1 W/kg for 10 or 30 minutes during the 6 hours chemical treatment and analyzed by Northern blot for expression levels of c-fos, c-jun, and c-myc. Initial reports from the EBEA 2001 meeting in Helsinki Finland suggest increases observed in these three gene targets following exposure. |
