SY5Y, DK-N-BE, IMR32 (neuroblastoma cell lines expressing ganglionic nAChRs), DAOY (medulloblastoma cell line expressing central nAChRs), and NT2 (teratocarcinoma cell line that differentiates into various phenotypes upon RA stimulation) will be exposed in culture to 1800 MHz (GSM) and analyzed for nicotinic subunits a3, a5, b4, b2, and a7 using Northern blot and RNase protection. Further, the expression of homeodomain-containing Phox2a and Phox2b (neuronal differentiation transcription factors) will be measured. |
