835.62 MHz (FM), 847.74 MHz (CDMA) exposure to rats and analysis of brain tumors (9L glioma cell line injection bioassay) |
Details |
|
Fisher 344 rats were implanted with the 9L glioma tumor cell line and exposed at 0.75 W/kg (brain SAR) in a carousel irradiator 4 hours/day, 5 days/week to 835.62 MHz (FM) or 847.74 MHz (CDMA) beginning 4 weeks prior and up to 150 days following implantation of tumor cells. No effects of RF exposure were seen on tumor growth rate or survival rate of the animals. |
