ID Number 2238
Study Type In Vivo
Model Low magnetic field exposure to mice (analysis of tumor growth in a B16-BL6 melanoma tumor injection model) and rats (reduced litter size and implications for sudden infant deaths).
Details

C57b male mice inoculated subcutaneously with B16-BL6 melanoma cells were exposed to time varying magnetic fields nightly for 3 hours. The authors report that tumors did not grow in mice exposed in all three spatial dimensions (all three planes) every 2 seconds, but did in sham exposed as well as mice exposed in only one spatial dimensions.
