Model Static magnetic field exposure to rats and analysis of reproductive effects
Details

Rats (n = 92) were exposed to static magnetic fields at 1.5 Tesla for 30 minutes and analyzed for spermatogenesis. The authors report exposure reduced germ cell count and sperm duct diameter from histological sections of testicular tissue. The effect could be partially reversed by giving the rats vitamins C and more significantly reversed with vitamin E prior to exposure.
