Static magnetic field exposure to primary endothelial precourser cells and analysis of growth |
Details |
|
Primary rat endothelial progenitor cells (isolated from bone marrow) were exposed to static magnetic fields at 0.1 mT, 0.5 mT, and 1.0 milliT with or without rapamycin. The authors report that 24 hours after exposure, the rapamycin group showed significantly decreased proliferation, while rapamycin + magnetic fields at 0.1 and 1 milliT demonstrated increased proliferation and migration above non-treated control levels. |
