Model 20 kHz exposure to chick eggs and analysis of teratogenesis

White Leghorn eggs (n = 60) were exposed to 20 kHz at 0.011, 0.11, or 1.1 milliT during the first 2, 7, or 11 days of embryogenesis. All-trans-retinoic acid was also used as a control for teratogenesis. The authors report no effect on mortality and development, either alone or in combination with retinoic acid treatment.
