Model		72 Hz (PEMF) to rat nerves (crush model) and analysis of regeneration
Details		Peripheral nerves in Swiss mice (n = 34) were crushed (unilateral sciatic-crush lesion) and exposed to 72 Hz pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF) at 0.2 milliT for 30 min/day, 5 days/wk for 3 weeks to evaluate regeneration. The authors report no effect on histological parameters and TGF-beta1 levels, although PEMF treated nerves had increased oxidative stress and decreased total regeneration.
