900 MHz (GSM) mobile phone use in Germany and correlation with micronuclei in mucosal cells |
| Details |
|
Mobile phone users in Germany (n = 131) were analyzed for micronuclei frequency in mucosal cells from bucal smears. Mobile phone use was assessed by voluntary questionnaire (n = 13 with no use, n = 85 with 3 hrs or less per week, n = 33 with 3 or more hrs per week). The authors report no correlation between mobile phone use and micronuclei frequency. |
