EMF exposure from environmental sources (e.g., computers and daily environment) to volunteers in China and analysis of sperm. |
Details |
|
Volunteers in Shanghai China wore exposure meters to monitor daily exposure to electromagnetic energy. Sperm samples donated from volunteers recieving an average of 0.16 microT (highest exposure group) were found to have a two-fold increase in abnormal sperm motility and morphology (OR = 2.0; 95% CI 1.0-3.9). Increasing duration of exposure above lead to further increases in abnormal sperm motility and morphology. |
