Microwave exposure to blood of alcoholics and analysis of oxidative damage |
Details |
|
Blood from alcoholics was exposed to microwaves and plasma and erythrocytes were evaluated. The authors report that normal increases in lipid peroxides and protein carbonyls in erythrocytes found in the alchoholics were decreased with microwave resonance therapy. Although elevated levels of lipid peroxides were still present in plasma samples, the level of protein carbonyls in plasma was also decreased with microwave resonance therapy. |
