Drivers from a small city in New York state were observed at three roadside locations (on 2 different days) and compared with US National averages for driving while talking on a mobile phone. The observation locations were chosen to represent increasing distances to a central police station. The authors report overall use was similar to national averages, with no difference between observation sites. |
