Details

Social investigation of evolving parenting tools for monitoring and requesting information on children. The authors report that with single parent families (196 dyads, 13% father-son, 11% father-daughter, 30% mother-son, 46% mother-daughter), parents that called more frequently reported less truthfulness when speaking to their adolescents. More parental calls was also associated with less adolescent-reported truthfulness.
