50 Hz ELF exposure to human subjects and analysis of salivary ion concentration |
Details |
|
Human subjects were exposed to 50 Hz (ELF) at an average magnetic field strength of 3-4 microT on 15 consecutive visits. The authors report levels of magnesium (but not calcium or fluoride) ions in the saliva were significantly decreased between the 10th and 15th exposure cycle. The authors conclude, however, that the small transient effects on magnesium ions may not be biologically relevant. |
