Human subjects with osteochondral talar defects (n = 68) were exposed after arthroscopic surgery to 50 Hz pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMFs) for 4 hrs/day for 60 days and followed for 1 year to evaluate tissue healing, suppression of inflammation, and general pain. |
