Details |
|
Human subjects (n = 33) were exposed to 50,16.66, 13, 10, 8.33, or 4 Hz (ELF). The authors report decreases in alpha 1 (7.5-9.5 Hz) and alpha 2 (9-11 Hz) bands with exposure at 8.33 and 10 Hz in temporal and parietal brain regions as well as increases in beta 1 (12-14 Hz) with 13 Hz exposure in frontal brain regions. The authors suggest possible therapeutic applications of ELF exposures. |
