Model 50 Hz (ELF) exposure to young birds and analysis of growth and development
Details

Young Eurasian kestrels (sp. Falco tinnunculus) were exposed during the egg stage until fledglings to 50 Hz (ELF) by placing nesting boxes at different distances from high voltage transmission lines. Magnetic field levels were also measured in each box for comparison. The authors report no effects on growth, melatonin levels, leukocyte counts, or survival.
