1800 MHz (GSM) exposure to lens epithelial cells and analysis of DNA damage |
Details |
|
Human lens epithelial cells were exposed to 1800 MHz (GSM) at 4 W/kg (+/- 2 microT of electromagnetic "noise") for 24 hours and evaluated for DNA damage and intracellular reactive oxygen species. The authors report GSM exposure alone increased DNA damage and oxidative intermediates, and this effect was eliminated with superimposed "noise". |
