Self reported hypersensitive individuals (n = 27) were evaluated for event related potential EEG responses in an attempt to correlate these with wellbeing, anxiety, depression, and irritability symptoms. Subjects were also tested for cognitive performance and information process testing. The authors report hypersensitive subjects do not statistically differ from non-hypersensitive individuals in terms of cerebral information processing or allocated attention resources, but do have a decreased general level of health. |
