Mobile phone use while driving |
Details |
|
Mobile phone use while driving in Melbourn Australia was recorded over the period of 2002-2006 by observational assessment at different highway sites at three times during the day (morning, afternoon, evening) on consecutive Tuesdays. The authors report a non-significant decrease in the overall use of mobile phones while driving, although there was significantly higher use among men as compared to women (p = 0.03). Over the time period analyzed, use increased in the morning hours and decreased in the evening. Younger drivers used mobile phones the most. |
