50 Hz (ELF) and DC electric field exposure to cells and theoretical analysis of trans membrane voltage (TMV) |
Details |
|
Theoretical analysis of membrane effects during electroporation and electromagnetic exposure. The authors suggest cell membrane conductivity increases dramatically with high E-field and electroporation, so calculations of transmembrane voltage (TMV) cannot use resting values. The authors construct an analytical model to predict TMV in an electroporated and permeabilized cell. The authors also provide analytical models for exposure to alternating field exposures.
