10 Hz - 5 MHz exposure to axolotl embryos and analysis of rotation in a fixed amplitude rotating AC field (dependent upon dielectric properties of the embryo) |
Details |
|
Axolotl embryos exposed to a fixed amplitude rotating AC electric field over the frequency range of 10 Hz - 5 MHz. The authors report no rotation in the pregastrulation or neurulation stages of development, but rotation did occur during the gastrulation stage. Co-field rotation was maximal at 1-2 MHz and counterfield rotation was maximal at 1 kHz. Rotational response was linked to differences in dielectric properties of the different stages. |
