900 MHz (CW) exposure to rat lymphocytes and analysis of reactive oxygen species |
Details |
|
Wistar rat peripheral lymphocytes (+/- iron ions to induce oxidative stress) were collected and exposed to 930 MHz (CW) RF for 5 or 15 minutes at ~ 1.5 W/kg in a GTEM exposure apparatus and analyzed for reactive oxygen species. The authors report that RF exposure in the presence of iron ions resulted in an increased ROS and free radical production. |
