900 MHz (GSM), 105 GHz exposure to flax seeds and analysis of subsequent plant growth |
Details |
|
Flax seedlines exposed to 900 MHz (GSM) RF for 2 hours/day, 6 days using a mobile phone mounted above and hooked to the network. Exposure was reported to show the same response as when cold shock or other weak environmental stressors were applied. In a subsequent study, mm waves (105 GHz) as a single 2 hour exposure was used in the same assay and shown to again trigger the same response (production of epidermal meristems in the hypocotyl). |
