900 and 1800 MHz (GSM) exposure to humans and analysis of heart rate variability. |
Details |
|
Human volunteers (n = 26) were exposed to 900 MHz (GSM) from a mobile phone handset emitting at 2 watts and assessed for heart rate variability. The authors report no effect of RF exposure on cardiac output and autonomic measurements (ECG, hr, bp) either sitting, standing, or in combination. There was a weak correlation between exposure and certain sympathetic responses during sitting-to-standing. |
