Model		850 MHz (analog) mobile phone exposure to medical devices (ventilators) and analysis of EMI
Details		Medical devices, including 14 different ventilators, were examined during a standard test run while being exposed in close proximity to an 850 MHz analog mobile phone. The authors report 6 of 14 ventilators malfunctioned when the phone was transmitting at max power and placed within 15 cm. The authors conclude that under worse case conditions, significant EMI from mobile phones can occur with medical devices
