900 MHz mobile phone exposure and analysis of sperm quality and motility |
Details |
|
Male volunteers (n = 52) were evaluated for sperm number, quality, and motility under various conditions. Of relevance to RF bioeffects, the authors reported that storage of mobile phones in their hip pocket or on their belt (close to the testes) had significantly lower sperm
motility (49.3 +/- 8.2%) than men who did not carry a mobile phone or who carried their mobile phone elsewhere on the body (55.4 +/- 7.4%). |
