2450 MHz exposure (thermal levels) to newborn rats and analysis of thyroid gland activity and hormone production |
Details |
|
New born male rats were exposed to 2450 MHz (CW) RF (dose ?) and analyzed for circulating thyroid hormone levels. The authors report that exposure increased plasma TSH, and subsequently hypothalamic noradrenaline, but not plasma thyroxine (T3). Histological analysis suggested increased activity of the thyroid gland in exposed animals. |
