Model Mathematical model for numerical calculation of heat distribution in the eye due to RF exposure

A mathematical model of the human eye was developed based upon the bioheat transfer equation for numerical determination of temperature distribution during exposure to RF energy using the Galerkin finite element method. Thermal conductivities of ocular tissues, heat loss from the anterior corneal surface, and convective heat lost from the sclera to the body core were considered, although the authors admit available numbers may not be reliable.
