ELF (60 Hz) exposure to developing chick embryos and analysis of teratogenicity |
Details |
|
Chick embryos were exposed to 60 Hz (ELF) at 4 mT (split sine wave) during the first 72 hours of development. The authors report a significant reduction in ectoenzyme 5'-nucleotidase activity localized in the developing cerebellum that persisted throughout the embryonic period. The authors further report that superimposition of electromagnetic noise of similar amplitude and frequency mitigates these effects. |
