Details		Giant amoeba (Chaos chaos and Chaos carolinensis) were exposed at high levels to alternating electric fields over a wide frequency range (1 Hz to ~ 10 MHz) and evaluated for changes. The authors report changes in perpendicular and parallel elongation and suggest simple dielectric forces may be responsible.
