Model |
150 MHz (PW 217 Hz) exposure to humans and analysis of EEG |
Details |
Human subjects (n=17) were exposed to the magnetic field from a 150 MHz signal pulsed at 217 Hz from coils around the neck region. The measured magnetic field strength was ~0.01 µT. Calculated power density in the brain tissue at 6 cm depth was lower than 1 µW/cm2. Exposure was reported to produce changes in EEG recordings (increase in alpha 8-12 Hz activity that continued for several minutes after exposure). |
