Model		Mobile phone, RF, ELF hazards and electromagnetic interference with implantable medical devices
Details		Evaluation of electromagnetic interference between implantable medical devices and EMF sources such as mobile phones, other RF sources, and ELF. The study examines potential risks for patients in everyday life as well as in occupational situations. Probability and consequences of unexpected and unwanted implant behavior are also evaluated. Disturbance thresholds of implanted systems in low and high frequency fields as well as in the combined fields will be assessed. Start date 1998
