835 MHz (TDMA) exposure to L929 cells and analysis of ODC activity |

L929 murine fibroblast cells were exposed to 835 MHz (TDMA) RF from < 1 W/kg up to 15 W/kg for 8 hours and analysed for ODC activity. No effects of RF exposure were observed at non-thermal levels. At thermal levels resulting in a measureable increase in media temperature, there was a dose dependent decrease in ODC activity consistent with the known literature-based heat inhibbition of the ODC enzyme. |
