Occupational exposure to radar and correlation with neurological and psychological endpoints |
Details |
|
Radar mechanics and engineers (n=17) were examined for neurological, psychometric and neuropsychiatric endpoints and compared to 12 controls to assess possible central nervous system effects of MW exposure. No effects in the exposed group were observe in psychometric tests, although an overall increase in a protein band with an isoelectric point of 4.5 was observed in their the cerebrospinal fluid. The authors were unclear as to the nature and clinical significance of the increased proteins. |
