900 MHz - 2.45 GHz (CW, TDMA, GSM) exposure using numerical FDTD models of human brain and modeling of SAR distribution and surface heating |
Details |
|
An FDTD and thermal analysis of a human head model exposed to a variety of RF frequencies from a variety of antennas [monopole, helical, side-mounted planar inverted-F antenna (PIFA) and patch] in either the vertical or tilted position estimated the maximum temperature increase in the brain from RF exposure from mobile wireless equipment to range from 0.048-0.160 C per W/kg at 900 MHz and 0.008-0.134 C per W/kg at 1800 MHz |
